Transportation at Sledge
At Sledge Institute, we believe every student deserves safe, reliable, and equitable access to their education—no matter where they live. Transportation shouldn’t be a barrier to big dreams.
That’s why our model is built to meet the real needs of families across the Kerr-Tar region. We combine school-operated buses, car rider options, and community drop-off/pick-up locations to get students to campus safely and on time—ready to learn, lead, and thrive.

Let’s Work Together
Quick Reminder: Be On Time for the Bus!
To keep things running smoothly for everyone, we kindly ask that you arrive at your child’s bus stop at least five minutes before the scheduled time.
For example, if the bus is scheduled to stop at Oasis of Hope Ministries at 7:20am, please plan to be there by 7:15am.
Our drivers are on a tight schedule and have been instructed not to wait past the listed stop time, so arriving early helps ensure your child gets to school safely and on time, and helps keep the whole route running on track.
Thanks for helping us keep Sledge moving!

Car Pool Guidelines
Your cooperation helps us protect our students and ensure a safe, efficient carpool process for everyone. We’ve got this—together!
DISPLAY YOUR CARPOOL TAG CLEARLY
It helps us identify you quickly and keep the line moving.
FOLLOW THE TRAFFIC FLOW
Follow the traffic flow through the designated carpool lane and observe all posted signs.
LISTEN TO OUR ON-SITE STAFF
They’re there to help direct traffic and keep everyone safe.
APPROVED ADULTS ONLY/ KEEP CAR TAGS VISIBLE
Only approved adults with the proper car tag/code will be allowed to pick up students during dismissal.
